Lightbulb Pick 1 for me. Which is "Better"

Mushroom shaped or Cone shaped air filters? Or are there also different ones too?
I'm leaning towards the Mushroom 1. Any other suggestion and why?

Thanks for reading.

Same ****, different sounds. A filter does 1 thing, that is to filter the air entering the TB/DC. As far as efficiency goes, that depends on where it's sucking air from and how restrictive the flow of air passage is prior reaching the filter. Generally a Mushroom filter covers more area, but the gains are marginal and you won't notice it.

I've yet to see a "mushroom" style filter that has a decent filter element that I'd trust for more than a year.

I like mine and it is easier than easy to take off and clean.

HKS has a plausible one, it required more frequent cleaning than any other filter I had though. Now using and Apex'i cone.
