12-06-2009 05:41 PM | ha..I got a camaro back in like June. It's a pretty nice car but I'm just not feeling the 'Maro thing. I'm not really into mid 80's through 90's styling or performance. I'm a classic american cars (who isn't) and I'm starting to go back to modern JDM stuff. (oddly enough-to contradict what I just said about the 80's I found an old 81 Datsun 280zx that hasn't been driven since march of 82 according to the inspection sticker...the interior is solid black leather with no wear or tears at all. 6 speed with an RB25 plant-totally got my attention because of my interest with JDM stuff and the obvious connection between RB25 and the RB26 from my favorite jap car, the GTr-34)
anyways..the 'Maro is actually up for sale. General public price is 2450, to people I have a bias toward (or people who buy it with cash like instantly) I'm letting it slide hellas down to 2000

09-11-2007 10:13 PM | Hey Eric,
Lately I've been kicking around the idea of a S13 SR20 swap, I can get parts and the work is easy as pie. Plus I've got a line on a cheap car and motors are inexpensive when you know the guys I do.
However, I was curious about harness wiring and gauges. There was something else too, but I don't remember right now.
I see you've got it done and wanted to know if you encountered any problems or "hicups"? Or is it truly as easy as putting motor in, and running ecu harness? (I know its not actually THAT simple, but you get the point).
I've only ever actually seen it done once, and the kid bought it like that... It seems pretty simple. Too simple...
Thanks in advance.
